Since taking my foundation course in September 2008 (M6MUD) on an all ladies course I have been exploring the great world of amateur radio.
I passed my intermediate license in April 2009 (2E0DRT) and hope to complete my full license this year.
My main radio interests are APRS, QRP and HF/VHF mobile.
I love to participate in events and learn new things about amateur radio and help others to enjoy the hobby as much as I do. My other hobbies include IT and Land Rovers.

I first got interested in radio back in the late 70`s with AM CB and went on to FM in 1981 when it became legal.I went off the air in 1984 and became an SWL until my interest was rekindled in 2005.This time I thought I would go all the way and get my amateur licence, so in Nov 07 I got my M3 and followed on to get my 2E0 in March08.I hope to get my M0 in the coming year, so watch this space.

My interest in radio/electronics goes back to my school days and a prewar radio receiver which I linked to a long wire down the garden. I came back to radio after developing an interest in sailing and heard of /MM nets. I take part in the Club Championship contests and some other contests. email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
